Overview
Rifle 1 is a 6-hour course designed around the AR15 series of rifle platforms. SBRs and other shoulder fired semi-automatic rifles are welcomed. This course allows for establishing a solid gun handling and shooting foundation that will easily transfer to all applications of shooting. Must have tax stamp on hand for any ATF Class 3 items brought to training regardless of using or not. This is an outdoor course and we train in less-than-ideal weather conditions, prepare accordingly with good hydration, food, rest, and attire.

Pre-requisites
- This is not an intro or beginner course.
- Must have received basic firearms safety course from a certified instructor.
- Must have a basic working knowledge of your firearm and equipment listed below.
Admirative Notes
- Must be a US Citizen or legal resident with a valid state or federal picture ID.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or have an approved signed waiver for ages 16-17.
- Upon arrival, leave firearms and equipment inside locked vehicle until directed.
- Report to the FishHawk range store for check-in with ID @ 8:30 am.
- You will receive a golf cart after check-in for transporting self and equipment to and from range.

Must Bring Equipment
- A state issued photo ID
- A fully operational Ar15 rifle/ SBR with aiming instruments
- Rifle sling
- Minimum of 2 magazines
- Magazine pouches or ability to carry additional magazine on your body. (pockets)
- 500 rounds of factory ammunition
- Ear protection (preferably electronic)
- Eye protection
- Suitable attire for outdoor range training (no open toed shoes)
- Tools if necessary for sight or optic adjustments
- Rifle cleaning kit: minimum (cleaning rod, bore brush, rag, and CLP)
- Any additional equipment is optional
***Note***
- Water cooler with cups provided
- Bring appropriate food and drinks to sustain yourself for duration of training.
- All breaks to include lunch will be taken on the range.
- The range store has full-service restrooms with showers but due to distance from the range only porta-johns will be available for use during training.
- The porta johns are stocked and cleaned daily for customer use.
- Sun block, bug juice, hat, or any other environmental protection you want is optional but highly recommended.
